Benefits:
Increase the flow of bile and as an aid to digestion.
How It Works:
Oregon Grape is a popular herb known in traditional herbal medicine as a cholagogue, digestive stimulant and tonic.
The name Oregon Grape is something of a misnomer: the grapes are not grapes at all, though you can eat them and they can be cooked down into a jam.
Oregon Grape is the state flower of Oregon and at one time the plant was so popular for ornamental purposes, it was all but picked out of existence in some areas of the west coast of North America.
