Joint grass, shave grass, bottle brush, Dutch rushes, scouring rush, bull pipes, pewter wort, devil’s guts, paddock-pipes…So many names exist for one of the oldest herbs known to man. Silica, is common in many plants giving them a hard outer coating, such as we see in corn, rice and barley.
Horsetail is high in silica with some estimates stating the plant is more than 35 percent silica. The horsetail plant has a strong, thick, hollow hair-like stalk with coarse hairs resembling the coarse hairs of a horse’s tail. The plant’s latin name literally means “horse tail of the fields.”
Ingredients:
Medicinal Ingredients: Each capsule contains Equisetum arvense (horsetail) stems and strobiles 360 mg.
Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Gelatin.
